Bettina Zimmermann (born 31 March 1975 in Burgwedel) is a German actress and voice actress.

Life
Bettina Zimmermann is the youngest of three siblings. She first attended the Realschule Burgwedel[1] and graduated from the Leibnizschule in Hanover in 1994. [2] During her private acting training in Hamburg, she worked as a model. After engagements for commercials for Vodafone, Lycos (Comundo) and WMF, among others, she got her first role in the cinema production Fisimatenten in 1998.

She works for German television productions by private broadcasters such as RTL or Sat.1 as well as for public television stations such as ZDF. She appeared in various television plays, e.g. as Angélique in the historical film The Indomitable Heart, or television series such as the children's series Dandelion. In addition, she appeared as a supporting actress in various German cinema productions. She then starred in numerous film and television productions such as Moonlight Tariff, Erkan & Stefan vs. the Powers of Darkness, The Airlift, the multi-award-winning 2030 – Uprising of the Old and the sequel 2030 – Uprising of the Young or in Crimes after Ferdinand von Schirach.

With her partner, actor Kai Wiesinger, Zimmermann filmed the web series Der Lack ist ab from 2015 to 2018. Wiesinger directed there for the first time and wrote the screenplays. [3] Both played their series roles Hanna and Tom in Vodafone commercials for several years. [4]

She was in front of the camera for the Paramount+ series Kohlrabenschwarz. Audiences also know her from various dubbing roles: Among other things, she lends her voice to Sally in Pixar's Cars. [5] Since 2015, she has played prosecutor Claudia Strauss in the sequel to the crime series Ein Fall für Zwei.

Private life
Bettina Zimmermann has two children, a son born in 2008 from a previous relationship with cameraman Vladimir Subotic[6] and a child born in 2015 with her current partner Kai Wiesinger. [7]
